how to choose flattering cardigans for girls!

Hello friends! so this blog post is going to be touching on how to choose a flattering cardigan for girls. Many of us are afraid to try cardigans as we might sometimes appear disproportional and might be afraid of not pulling the look off nicely. So here are some tips on how to choose a flattering cardigan sweater and where to get one :)

Clockwise from top left – the stripy cardigan is great for I shapes, the wide stripes will add curves as will the pocket detail which will add width to your hips.
The white cardian with black waist detail will give you the illusion of a lovely waist, the striped cuff details will make your hips look curvier.
The grey with feather neckline cardigan is great for 8, X and A shapes who can all highlight their small waists with a belt, the feathers draw attention up toward you face.
The peach cardigan with ruched sleeves is best for A and 8 shapes who have narrower shoulders and want to balance their hips whilst still drawing attention their small waists.
The black cardigan with the asymmetrical hem is fantastic for A and X shapes who want to deflect from their hips.
The red and grey cardigans in the middle are great for those with less of a waisted shape, O, Hs and Vs. The long open line creates flattering verticals that elongate a shorter torso.
The long peach cardigan is great for Xs,8s and As, the tie at the waist highlights your waist, the longer length camouflages your bottom.
As and 8s with narrower shoulders will look great in the white cardigan with shoulder detail.
The green and grey cardigans are great for smaller busted women as the high necklines will flatter.
The blue/grey cardigan with asymmetric wide collar works for Hs and As, as does the red cardigan with ruffle detail.

Now outerwear is an important part of style. You can dress up really well but if you wear the wrong outwear, you look crappy.

SO here are some outerwear that are stylish and look good!

For leather jackets, well not many people wear these but leather jackets are actually very stylish! However, people do not know how to choose leather jackets! Therefore, here are some tips to help you!

Choosing a Leather Jacket:

Choose a flattering cut. Men's bomber jackets, motocross jackets and distressed leather jackets are among the popular cuts of men's leather jackets. Each fits differently, however. Bomber jackets have a roomier fit in the chest area and are fitted to the waist, making them ideal for lean men with broad shoulders. Motocross jackets typically fall to the waist and have metal hardware and zippered pockets; they are designed to have a tight fit. Distressed leather jackets have a vintage look and feel, with stiff lapels, boxy pockets and a worn-in look. For a classic style, go with a straight, streamlined cut that looks fitted without looking tight.
Pick a color. Brown leather jackets look vintage and more casual, which makes them great for men with a more laid-back style. They also look good paired with jeans. Black leather jackets can dress up business attire, such as pinstriped dress pants, but they can also lend a rugged touch to jeans or casual pants. If you're not sure which one you like best, choose a color based on the majority of your wardrobe: if you wear predominantly bright colors or white and black, buy a black leather jacket; for warmer, earthy tones, choose a brown leather jacket.
Look for a quality fabric. Leather jackets are generally made from either lambskin leather or cowhide leather. Lambskin leather is softer and glossier than cowhide leather, and it usually offers a dressy look. It is not as durable as cowhide leather, however, and it shows scratches and tears easily. Cowhide leather ages well and has a more rugged, rough appearance. This type of leather is especially sought after in vintage jackets.
Keep your wardrobe in mind. A leather jacket can be an investment, so be sure to pick one that will complement the clothes you already have if you want to get a lot of wear out of your jacket. You can also purchase a leather jacket that makes a statement and find neutral pieces to go with it.
Make sure it's comfortable. Since most leather jackets are designed to fit snugly, make sure you find one that doesn't hug your body too tightly. Look for a style with large armholes if you have muscular arms, and ensure that there is enough room in the chest area if you have broad shoulders.
